Axel Arigato manages to stay on top of the fast changing digital sphere by releasing one new style each week. The collections include men's footwear, women's footwear, clothing and accessories. Axel Arigato is currently carried by a select group of retailers as well as sold online and through the stores in London, Stockholm and Copenhagen.

Axel Arigato is offering an exciting full-time position as CFO at the head office in Gothenburg. This is a position for a conscientious person that understand that it needs to be a combination of fun, speed, change and social when working at a fast-growing company. The CFO will be a close and honest business partner to the CEO and the leadership team, help develop the corporate strategy and be a key leader in driving the evolution of Axel Arigato to new heights.
Today - Axel Arigato has subsidiaries in three countries and aims to expand to an additional seven within a period of 24 months. The finance department is currently consisting of a business controller, an accountant, and a financial assistant. The team will expand which is why we want the applicant to have a genuine interest in people and management as well as the obvious - business development and finance.
The responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
• In collaboration with the finance team - handle day to day operations and drive revenue growth, profitability, and capital efficiency.
• Overseeing and working hands-on with the budget, accounting and financial reporting as well as working with the executive team to establish and execute long-term goals and action plans.
• Responsible for financial, analytics, accounting, cash flow, taxation and requirements of the organization.
• Keep building the financial structure needed for the global expansion of Axel Arigato.
We believe the ideal candidate has the following qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Administration or equivalent.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent English Communication.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Highly organized and a keen eye for details.
• Ability to work in an international, complex and challenging environment.
• It's highly likely that you have a few years experience of leadership experience within accounting and/or business controlling.
In addition to the above, experience from working with Navision, experience from a company within retail or experience from a fast-growing company is favorable.
In this process, the individual's motivation and adaptive mindset will trump experience. The candidate is intrigued by the fashion industry, enjoys creating structure and gets a kick out of calculating cases for expansion and business opportunities. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and realizes the importance of continuous improvements in big and small. International experience from studies, work or volunteering is a bonus.
