Let us describe the challenge we offer
Our Quality department work to ensure the quality in Polestar products throughout the life cycle of our product and services. The department is expanding at a rapid pace, and we are now searching for Certification Specialist to our newly formed Product Certification & Regulations team.
The Product Certification & Regulations team is the key provider of product regulations, product certification and all activities related to these areas. The deliveries are basis to make it possible for Polestar to register and sell vehicles globally. The role is based at our HQ in Gothenburg, Sweden.
What you'll do
As Certification Specialist at Polestar you will be main responsible for coordinating product certification for global markets in order to receive Component and System approvals. The role also includes acting as the main internal contact for legal requirement questions within the specific area.
Your tasks will contain:
• To maintain sufficient competence in the applicable regulatory area
• To support the R&D organisation with interpretation of legal requirements
• To create detailed time-plans for the certification activities
• To lead the certification activities and manage the necessary authority contacts for the specific area of responsibility
• To handle compliance documentation and required tools
• To drive continuous improvement and develop tools and processes for certification

You conduct your work in a structured manor with attention to detail, where your excellent communication skills are a clear path along your projects. As a team player you are able to create understanding and good collaboration between departments.
To be a match we believe you have competence in one or more of the following areas:
• SUMS/CSMS
• range/energy consumption
• active safety/autonomous driving
We also believe that you have:
• Deep knowledge of type approval and certification in global markets
• Ability to read and analyse complex legal requirement texts
• Excellent skills in summarizing and communicating legal requirements and certification needs to others
• Excellent documentation skills
