We are looking for a Certification & Compliance Engineer to join our technology and innovation team at Tele Radio HQ in Gothenburg. Key responsibilities include:
• Manage the work for compliance with product requirements (CE marking, radio requirements, functional safety, environmental tests, etc.)
• Responsible for the certification process of Tele Radio products (RED, FCC, IC etc.)
• Make and maintain routines for parts of the chemical legislation (RoHS, REACH etc.)
• Interpret relevant standards, directives and other relevant legal requirements
• Participate and influence technical committees in the process of developing new or revised standards
• Serve as an expert resource for the Tele Radio Group
We are looking for a person with:
• Degree in electrical/electronic engineering or equivalent
• Knowledge in regulations for electrical products
• Basic understanding of datasheets, electrical schematics, mechanical drawings
• Fluent English and Swedish language, both written and verbal.
• The ability to work independently, who is self-driven and takes own responsibility
• The ability to plan, organize and prioritize
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Desirable attributes:
• Experience taking a product through the certification process
• Knowledge of following regulations: European radio directive and machine directive and functional safety
• Knowledge of following standards: EN ISO 13849-1, EN 61508
• Experience of an international project organization
