Our Team
We are now looking for a Certification engineer at EMCS- Regulations and Certification Road Safety Group of Scania Product Compliance Department.
Our group EMCS is working with all Road Safety regulatory areas in order to organize, plan, maintain and perform certification activities for trucks, buses and systems.
Additionally we work with technical lobbying, legal analysis and certification coordination during the pre-development, configuration and industrialisation of Scania Research & Development projects. The work is both individual and collaborative with a wide network with Scania R&D, technical services/certification bodies and industry regulatory working groups.
Job Responsibilities
Your assignment will be to follow our different development projects and plan certification together with design and testing groups within one of the following core areas of EMCS:
General Safety & Special orders
Electrification
Embedded & Autonomous
Gas and Fuel Cell Vehicles

Additionally, you will support legal requirement analysis in product development regarding global regulations but also market-specific legislation.
You will also closely monitor the need of certification in coordination with coming new legislations.
Besides the above, you will be expected to follow and monitor forthcoming legislation in cooperation with other members of the group and spread information about new legislation to design groups.
Your Profile
We believe that you have a bachelor of science in automotive engineering or equivalent.
Additionally, we believe that you have previous experience from product development within an international context in the automotive industry.
You thrive in a coordinating role and feel comfortable communicating in a cross- functional environment.
You are a team- player with good collaborating skills and understand the complexity in an international environment.
