We are now looking for a Certification Engineer
YOUR TEAM
As part of the Function Quality & Sustainability you will work on the development of mobility products that meet legislation or the intent of the legislation for test fleets and future mobility products.
You will support in interpretation of legal requirements primarily related to mobility and safety, which can include other legislation than for type approval.
You will also coordinate the activities related to interpretations of legal requirement, the contact with relevant Authorities for Certification and Product Liability etc. You also need to be open for finding solutions to a wide range of issues related to mobility.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Communicate internally within NEVS to make sure NEVS organization knows what is expected by them to fulfill needed vehicle regulations, AD and comply to them.
- Show Authorities as e.g., "Transportstyrelsen" that NEVS will fulfill the demand and plan how NEVS can introduce new verified solutions.
- Responsible to keep contact with relevant authorities and support an open dialogue on legal matters.
- Interpret legislation to support development organization.
- Handling a greater complexity of both breadth and specialist knowledge as well as a many different legal requirements and parts.
- Understand how / where changes in regulations affects all stages of the company's certification processes, e.g., within the projects.
- Responsible to keep management and projects updated on Legal Plan and requirement development.
WHO YOU ARE
- You have a verified knowledge of legal requirements ECE.
- You have advanced understanding of the legal process in Europe.
- Experience from negotiations with Authorities.
- At least 10 years' experience as Certification Engineer or similar.
- You are meticulous in technical details.
- Practical technical competence and understanding vehicle solutions good enough to be able to describe vehicle functionality in a pedagogical way.
