As a Central Operations Manager, you will report to the Director Of Central Operations and drive operational excellence in staffing models, scheduling, and overall workforce efficiency. In this role you will collaborate cross-functional with both central- and local teams, and leverage your analytical capability to gain deep understanding of operational dynamics and impact operational strategy, market collaboration, and scalable process improvements across all markets. This will include:
Workforce and Resource Optimization
Developing and implementing standardised workforce planning processes, ensuring efficient and effective shift scheduling across all markets.
Designing scalable staffing models that support operational flexibility, aligning with demand fluctuations and market needs.
Optimising scheduling processes to balance cost efficiency, compliance, and operational performance.
Leveraging new tools within the AI space.
Working closely with in-market teams to tailor workforce strategies to local requirements while maintaining alignment with central goals.
Supporting markets in contingency planning, ensuring effective staff allocation during peak seasons, disruptions, and operational shifts.
Performance Analysis & Business Forecasting:
Building and maintain dashboards to track workforce utilisation, cost-efficiency, and productivity metrics.
Improving forecasting ability and accuracy globally.
Analysing data to surface performance gaps and prioritise actions to improve workforce effectiveness.
Translating operational insights into better forecasting, shift allocation, and staffing strategies
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Driving company wide and high priority initiatives to integrate operational expertise, share best practices, and drive innovation in both e-scooter and e-bike workflows.
Facilitating knowledge-sharing and best practices across markets
Collaborating with tech and analytics teams to implement automation and data-driven improvements.
Continuous Improvement & Innovation
Gaining a deep understanding of operational complexity and proactively addressing emerging challenges in e-bike and e-scooter operations.
Staying attuned to operational- and industry trends, tools, and innovations to identify opportunities for improvement and scalability.
WHAT YOU NEED TO EMBARK
We're looking for an analytical and structured problem solver, with the ability to drive data-driven and cross-functional improvements with measurable impact on commercial- and operational metrics in a fast-paced dynamic environment. In addition to this, we believe the right person has:
Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, business, finance or similar
Professional fluency in English
2+ years experience from operations or strategy consulting
Experience in conducting and presenting analyses of large data sets, and driving data-driven decision making with measurable impact on commercial- or operational performance
Experience from managing multiple projects with senior stakeholders
