Cobra's services include; cell line development, analytical and process development, cGMP production, fill/finish and lyophilisation of recombinant proteins, antibodies, DNA, viruses and whole cell products. All our programs meet cGMP standards with full regulatory support.
We are currently looking to recruit a Cell Culture Production Lead, reporting to Cell Culture Service Delivery Manager. This role is a permanent position.
The successful candidate will be required to work closely with the Cell culture team, Purification Production lead, QA, project managers as well as with other functions within the organization.
The main duties will include:
Manage and performing Cell culture work for Production of recombinant proteins in lab and pilot scale assuring GMP compliance:
• Inoculum, media and plant preparation
• Cultivation and related controls
• Cleaning of process equipment
• Review or Approve the cell culture part of e.g Manufacturing specification, Batch protocols and Cleaning plans and reports
Design scale up of cell culture processes
Conduct GMP related tasks such as
• Approve Change control, deviations and basic investigations
• Approve equipment qualification plan and reports
• Write and update SOP's, URS
• Main contact to commercial team as cell culture production specialist
• Representing Cell culture production at audits from authorities and clients
Qualifications:
• Education in engineering, biotechnology or similar or several years of experience in relevant area
• Proven skills in cell culture technology at bioreactor scale
• Proven experience of GMP production
• Experience of work with supply campaigns for biopharmaceutical development and production
• English and Swedish language skills
The individual will be expected to interact at all levels of the organisation and should be able to demonstrate accuracy, responsibility and good communication skills. The position will be based at the Södertälje site.
