We are now recruiting a Cell biologist with experience in High Content Biology and cell imaging to AstraZeneca, Mölndal. Preferred starting date is 1 December.
We are looking for a research scientist (MSc or PhD) with solid hands-on experience and knowledge within the field of cell biology, High Content Biology and Cell Imaging. Expertis in culturing diverse cell types from different origins are required and experience in culturing of primary cells, stem cells and other more complex cell culturing systems is strongly advantageous. Previous experience in Cell Imaging (e.g, confocal microscopy, fluorescence and light microscopy) and High Content Biology (using ImageXpress, ArrayScan or similar equipment) is strongly preferred.
It is essential to have good social and communication skills and to be a strong team player. Candidates should be able to work independently, take own initiatives and have a positive, goal oriented and problem solving attitude. Good organisational skills are required and you should be comfortable in presenting your results. Excellent English is required, both spoken and in writing. The personal characteristics will be emphasized in the selection of the right candidate.
