hela Sverige Vattenfall is looking for the right person to fill the position as Category Manager with location Arenastaden, Solna.

As category manager you will be a part of the future of a customer centric organization with plenty of sourcing and vendor management work as well as opportunities for business development. You will be responsible for steering more than 300 MSEK of procurement spend for Vattenfall?s Nordic Sales and Customer Service operations.
Responsibilities
As Category Manager you will join the procurement team for Sales and Customer Services within Vattenfall. You will support the Business Area Customers and Solutions in optimizing value generation through sales channels and support the development of new business models.
Further you will contribute to reduce cost2serve in customer service. You will be responsible for the interface towards the sales units and customer service in the Nordic region and also drive the procurement planning, business dialogues and procurement follow-up sessions as a business partner to the management teams of those units.
As Category Manager you will have the following key responsibilities:
• Develop a distinct procurement strategy for sales channels in the Nordic region and execute with sourcing and vendor management
• Foster industrialization from supplier market perspective for new business models in the Nordic sales environment
• Ensure that goods and services are sourced and delivered at best total cost of ownership available to Vattenfall on the supplier market
• To ensure that the value for Vattenfall stays at the high level or increases throughout the valid period of the contracts
• Contribute to an international procurement team with cross-country learning
• Work closely together with Sales and customer service units to fulfil procurement needs
• Supporting in the ?make or buy? decisions
Qualifications
Our best candidate has a relevant University degree or equal, with a minimum of five years relevant work experience in a similar position. Highly experienced in leading change in a large international organization. Solid understanding of sales channels, customer service business, sourcing and vendor management is a must. Your command of Swedish and English is strong, both verbally and written.
As a person you are a strong negotiator with superior interpersonal skills, wide commercial interest and a strong credibility built through both business insight and leadership. We are looking for a person that have the ability to simplify complexity and to identify ?the 20% of the scope that drives 80% of the results?. You are a team player who actively engages people by asking, sharing, helping or asking for help and you are pro-active, transparent, performance and results oriented. Sound communication skills and analytical skills is a must.
