You will be a part of Strategic Sourcing in Parts and Service Division, PSD in Örebro. We are 7 category managers, 1 regional sourcing manager and 1 strategic buyer. We are a part of a global organization and collaborate with our colleague's worldwide. We are a dedicated team that care about each other and have a lot of fun together. This is a temporary position for 24 months.
Your mission
As a Category Manager you will be responsible for the overall strategy in your category area(s) in scope. The role includes Supplier management and contract compliance where negotiating the overall terms and conditions is an important task. The Category Manager secures that the suppliers fulfil all Epiroc requirements and is responsible for realizing targets according to defined Key Performance Indicators (KPI's).
Your profile
We are looking for an experienced, pro-active and result oriented Category Manager. To succeed in this role we see that you have some years of experience within Strategic Sourcing, experience from project management or other equivalent leadership skills. Preferably you have a University degree in engineering, business administration and/or relevant certified buyer programs. This position includes participating in local/regional/national activities and global projects may also be considered. Therefore good knowledge in English (verbal and written) is required.
This position requires strong communication and negotiation skills. The ideal candidate should have a strong customer focus and a supply chain understanding. We see that you are an outgoing person with great ability to build lasting business relations. In order to be successful, you must have a high level of personal drive and strong analytical skills. Additionally, you have a great technical interest and understanding.

This position is located in Örebro, Sweden.
