Job Description:
As a Category Manager you will play a crucial role in optimizing costs, quality, and reliability of suppliers. Collaborate with stakeholders to drive Transformation in supply chain activities, from building strategies in the Tendering phase to successful execution during Project Execution. Some key responsibilities include:
* Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies based on business requirements.
* Negotiate agreements with main suppliers, focusing on quality, delivery, total cost of ownership (TCO), and sustainability.
* Conduct spend analysis, monitor supplier market availability, and ensure alignment with business strategy.
* Manage strategic relationships with suppliers, drive Supplier Performance Evaluation, and oversee related actions on supplier qualification and audits.
* Collaborate with the global SCM team to ensure procurement, production, and delivery align with project requirements worldwide.
Requirements:
We are looking for an experienced professional who can thrive in a challenging environment and contribute to continuous improvement. Key requirements include:
* Academic degree in a relevant field: BE (Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical), Supply Chain Management, or equivalent experience.
* Proven experience in supply chain functions, category management, strategic sourcing, project management, or procurement.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a multicultural business environment.
* Demonstrated maturity, strong sense of ownership, and ability to navigate through ups and downs.
* Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Swedish is not mandatory but desirable
