Working as a Category Manager - IT Sourcing at Permobil you will be a part of a dynamic, fast growing and international organization. You will be responsible for and Manage IT Sourcing in all IT supplier related matters from a commercial point of view. The organizational belonging is within Business Function Supply Chain and you will be in tight collaboration and a member of the IT Management team in Kista. Strategic sourcing, which is considered as a key aspect of supply chain management, involves elements such as examination of budgets, broad knowledge of the IT landscape supply market, lead and participate in sourcing projects, negotiation and creation of contracts with preferred suppliers. To do that you need vast experience in both IT environment and Strategic sourcing. We believe that you have high business ethics, act proactively and drive IT forward to meet the needs of future growth and that you are focused with the ability to develop relationships both internally and externally. You can express yourself fluently in English. Knowledge in other languages is considered a merit. This position will be placed in Stockholm, Kista and includes travelling. You will report to the Sourcing Manager, Indirect Materials & Services who in turn answers to the Senior Vice President of Group Supply Chain.
Duties
The role is accountable for the IT Sourcing Portfolio at Permobil and will represent the IT Function in all IT supplier related matters. The main responsibility for this area is to Manage IT Sourcing. Therefore, your key duties will be:
Strategy development and performance of all IT suppliers
Responsible to support the IT project definition (requirement specification, project contract negotiation and call-off based on signed supplier agreements
Ensure compliance/comply with internal and external policies, guidelines, regulations and laws within area of responsibility
Being accountable for Permobil IT supplier agreements and negotiations
Supplier management in collaboration with Service Portfolio Managers within the IT Function.
Support cross IT Function in sourcing and supplier relations and be responsive to business needs and help them achieve their goals.
Create plans together with Enterprise Architect team aligned with strategy BA and plans
Handle a complex supply issue resolution
Collaborate within Permobil Sourcing to ensure sharing and implementation of best practice and execution of continues improvements
Establish relationship with key stakeholders to ensure understanding of business needs
Work according to common processes, systems and tools, and established delegations and authority matrices
Authorized to sign agreements in accordance with established delegation and matrices Qualifications
University degree within Economics and/or Technology/IT or equivalent experience.
Previous experience of being the commercially responsible person in high value projects
Previous experience from managing complex IT business agreements and negotiations
As a Category Manager experience frombeing the "Driver" in Project Management
Analytical and critical thinking skills toghether with theability to draw the mail conclusions from a large volume of data and also presenting alternatives and recommendations to steering committees. Required knowledge/skill
Excellent knowledge of and background in end to end supply chain services
Good knowledge in analysis of strategic business goals and key decisions in order to see the effect on services based on partners, suppliers and the organization's capabilities
Excellent knowledge in business negotiations and contract management
Good knowledge in IT Governance
Good knowledge in IT Project Management (such as training/experience)
Effective communication skills (oral, written & presentation)
Good knowledge of most common Microsoft platforms is considered a merit
Experience required
Minimum 5 years' experience in IT Sourcing
Experience in Software/IT budgeting, forecasting and cost calculation
Experience of developing IT Sourcing strategies and plans
Experience of developing and managing supplier relations with strategic suppliers
Experience of make/buy investigations
Experience in Contract Negotiations with reference to IT related projects
Experience from Global companies and organizations is preferred
