hela Sverige We are looking for an experienced Procurement Professional to manage the spend in the procurement category for Mechanical and Electrical. The category manager will develop, negotiate and implement (global) contracts which will be used for operational sourcing of the mechanical and electrical products and services. The new colleague will be part of the international category team and will report to the Head of category spend Mechanical and Electrical.
Tasks & Responsibilities
• Company-wide steering of strategic and tactical sourcing activities for global spend categories, mainly focusing on plants located in the Sweden
• Leading of procurement initiatives in the area of the category Electrical, I&C, Mechanical, Pumps and Valves
• Further develop and implement category strategy and respective steering mechanisms
• Development, negotiation and implementation of (global) contracts which will be used for operational sourcing activities internationally
• Collaboration with technical Co-Leads and further relevant stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of the category strategy and approach
• Track and ensure achievement of forecasted cost reductions and productivity gains to contribute to Uniper 's overall through-life savings targets
• Promote and drive cross-functional and cross-border cooperation
• Participate in category-focused analysis projects on innovative strategy and sourcing options (deep dives) and monitor successful implementation of deep dive ideas
• This position requires security clearance and drug test
Qualifications
• Teamplayer
• Degree level education or equivalent
• Knowledge and experience in the supplier market and with procurement processes
• Technical understanding of the respective categories
• Customer and service orientated ability to deliver fast, innovative and creative solutions.
• High level assertiveness and communication skills , ability to build internal and external coalitions in an international environment for successful business development
• Experience of liaising with multiple stakeholder in a variety of business areas and stakeholders of differing seniority
• Support the identification of current and future demands at an early stage and influence the customer approach/strategy to create value for Uniper.
• Strong financial and commercial awareness
• Strong influencing and negotiating skills
• Demonstrate willingness to initiate and drive change within the business
• Significant analytical and problem solving skills
• Fluent in Swedish and English
• Willingness to travel
