Mölnlycke is now looking for a Category Manager - Technical Procurement to join us. For this role, you will preferably be placed at our global HQ in Gothenburg, Sweden but we are open to candidates looking for remote positions across Europe.

You'll make a significant contribution to our Wound Care manufacturing roadmap through;
Working with Technical Purchasing within the Global Indirect Procurement organization, in close cooperation with the with Technical Procurement Manager to support the Wound Care business area to ensure:
that the organization 's technical purchasing needs are met efficiently and cost-effectively.
that the technical procurement category strategy is followed and aligned with the manufacturing sites and technical development teams.


Your tasks will include:
In alignment with business area, be responsible for executing projects and realizing strategic initiatives related to Global Technical Purchasing.
Contributing to developing procurement category strategies including developing procurement plan, clarifying purchasing requirements, matching needs to supply capabilities, analyzing the organization's spend profile, seeking opportunities to improve efficiency and value, and collaborating with suppliers to identify sourcing opportunities.
Being accountable for tender processes, selecting suppliers together with stakeholders, certifying and validating suppliers, negotiating, establishing and managing contracts.
Being accountable for managing selected suppliers and supplier relations, including monitoring/managing supplier information, preparing/analyzing procurement and vendor performance, supporting inventory and production processes, monitoring quality and supply of products delivered.
Being accountable for sourcing projects and managing cost efficiency initiatives in Technical Purchasing globally where agreed.
Being accountable for managing and ensuring procurement performance through Mölnlycke Health Care procurement procedures, established principles and in line with strategy and set targets.

What you'll need
Academic business and/or Technical degree
• 5 years' experience from purchasing/sourcing machinery/equipment in a global setting
A genuine interest and skill set in technology, manufacturing processes and digital solutions
Demonstrated experience in building commercial relationships and successful negotiations
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Language skills - English

Global travelling to own units and suppliers is required from time to time, with an estimated volume of approx. 45 travel days per year.
