Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Category Coordinator. The Category Coordinator will be responsible for providing support to the Category Managers in managing the product categories, ensuring timely and accurate information is provided to support sales and marketing activities, and driving growth of the category. The successful candidate will have strong analytical skills, be highly organized, and have the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
• Assist the Category Manager in developing and executing category plans and strategies that align with business objectives
• Collect product data and marketing assets from suppliers and secure delivery to master data team
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date information on product assortment, pricing, and promotions
• Coordinate with internal departments such as sales, marketing, and master data to ensure that product information is communicated effectively and timely
• Analyze market trends and competition in the market using BI/CI data and own research as appropriate.
• Assist in preparing presentations and reports to share insights and recommendations
• Analyze implemented price policies by airline customer.
• Monitor and report on category performance, including sales, profitability, and inventory levels
• Share sell out data with suppliers
• Attend supplier and client meetings when needed
• Assist in forecasting
• Ad-hoc category management and administrative projects.
Education:
Relevant university degree or relevant work experience for the position
Work Experience:
1 - 2 years' office experience. Knowledge of retail industry and consumer behavior is a plus but not a must.
Language / Communication Skills: fluent English essential, other languages an advantage
Key Skills:
• Good attention to detail, able to deliver exceptional quality work within set deadlines
• Able to act quickly to meet changing business demands
• Understanding the commercial and consumer requirements of successful category management (eg range / price / promotion management)
• Confident in working with suppliers and customers, as well as other business stakeholders
Technical Skills:
Experienced MS Office user, familiar with BI and ERP tools and other business systems. Experience from Microsoft AX is a plus but not a must.
