We are currently looking for a Category Buyer who wants to be a part of a global team that focuses on sourcing of state-of-the art, automated process equipment and installations. The global team members take joint ownership for global deliveries and support each other to drive the global backlog in the best, most efficient and fun way.
As a Categpry Buyer you have the following areas of responsibility:
• Create, and deliver according to, purchasing strategies in order to meet the company 's needs for future technologies and concepts
• Plan and execute supplier selections in accordance with agreed strategies and in close co-operation with category team and stakeholders
• Own and manage your supply base, making sure that you have a balanced base of financially healthy and competent suppliers with an optimal footprint supporting sustainability
• Make sure contracts are correct, completed and stored in a timely manner
• Secure that all purchasing deliveries are met prior to each program mile stone
• Co-operate within the category team and with all stakeholders to secure supplier capability, quality and timely deliveries
• Drive suppliers and internal stakeholders to optimize running business by identifying and implementing commercial, technical and supply chain cost saving opportunities.
• Proactively seek ways to optimize running business supply base while assessing and managing supply base risks.
• Take full responsibility for your business and co-operate with the other team members to achieve a balanced workload and delivery of all tasks in our backlog
• Continuously keep all relevant systems updated to enable real time data transparency
• Provide and ask for developing feedback
This is a full-time consulting assignment, which means that you will be employed by StudentConsulting and work as a consultant. The assignment plans to start 2021-03-22 and last until 2021-09-30.

• A university degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience from a relevant Purchasing role and above listed sourcing activities.
• You have worked with supplier management and contractual topics and are used to drive fact-based negotiations/discussions.
• You have worked with sourcing strategies.
• Are a true team player and you give and ask for support.
• Enjoy collaboration in teams as well as independently driving and completing tasks.
• Need to be structured to manage complex projects and the many interfaces connected with this role.
• Have a flexible mindset and quickly adapt in our fast-moving work environment
• Are confident to act in an international environment.
• Are fluent in Swedish and English, written and spoken.
