If you are passionate about retail and want to work in a unique environment, this could be the opportunity for you. We are currently looking for a Category Buyer within fashion, hardware and diverse. You will work closely with local suppliers as well as the Sales Operations in Sweden, as well as with the central Category Management team in the head office in Zürich, Switzerland.
Publiceringsdatum2008-06-09Dina arbetsuppgifterEnsure effective implementation at local level of the One Europe strategy, sourcing local products within the category and supplier strategy and give feedback to the central Category Management team. Support the evolution of the category and supplier strategy whilst managing stock at local level to deliver the availability targets for stock levels and open to buy budget.
Implement defined range assortments, merchandising standards, local price policy and promotions strategy as defined by the central category strategy standards.
Provide store specific solutions and forecast support central with the development of the overall promotion plan and forecast, analyze promotion performance to continue to improve accuracy and take appropriate actions at local level to put measures on track when necessary.
Give feedback on the performance of the category and supplier strategies in the local market ant to local customer expectations and support the ongoing development of the strategy.
Traveling within Sweden to our shops at Göteborg, Malmö and Bromma airports will be required on a regular basis. You vill be situated at the office at Stockholm Arlanda Airport.
Vem är du?
Previous experience in the retail business, preferably coming from a larger international company, and a minimum of 3 years experience of working as Category Buyer is required. You must be a strategic thinker and able to understand the importance of the market and be able to adapt to change and to prioritize your own work to meet strict deadlines and be highly analytical and highly professional in your work.
Previous experience from any of our products within glassware, crystal, jewellery, fashion, sunglasses, toys, CD/DVD or technology is qualifying. Knowledge within SAP software and Business Warehouse is a plus. Furthermore you must be able to write and speak Swedish and English fluently.
