hela Sverige ValueOne is looking for a Category Manager who will work with Global Investments for a 18 month assignment at a manufacturing company in Gothenburg. The assignment must be filled as soon as possible.
The role
For this assignment we are looking for an experienced Category Buyer who will be part of our customer 's Global Investment Team that focuses on sourcing of state-of-the art and automated process equipment. You are expected to take full responsibility for your tasks and co-operate with the other team members while you are proactively seeking ways to optimize business.
Main tasks:
Create, and deliver according to the purchasing strategies in order to meet the company 's needs for future technologies and concepts.
Plan and execute supplier selections in accordance with agreed strategies and in close co-operation with category team and stakeholders.
Own and manage the supply base, making sure you have a balanced base of financially healthy and competent suppliers with an optimal footprint supporting sustainability.
Ensure contracts are correct, completed and stored in a timely manner.
Secure that all purchasing deliveries are met.
Co-operate within the category team and with all stakeholders to secure supplier capability, quality and timely deliveries.
Drive suppliers and internal stakeholders to optimize running business by identifying and implementing commercial, technical and supply chain cost saving opportunities.
Keep all relevant systems updated to enable real time data transparency.
Experience and competencies
The person we are looking for must have a relevant university degree or equivalent education. The assignment furthermore demands 3-5 years of experience from purchasing. Experience from indirect procurement or CapEx investments is a merit. You are a skilled negotiator used to drive negotiations and manage contracts. Also, proficiency in working with sourcing strategies is required as well as fluency in English, in writing and speech.
You are a true team player, helpful to your colleagues and enjoy collaboration in teams as well as working independently. Furthermore, you need to be structured to manage complex projects and the many interfaces connected with this role. We value a flexible mindset and ability to adapt in a fast moving international environment.
