Kongsberg Automotive is now looking for a Category Buyer who would like to be part of building the future and aiming to constantly be in the forefront of our areas. The position is based at Kongsberg Automotive in Gothenburg, Sweden or Raufoss, Norway.
What will you do?
Take ownership of a supply base within metal raw material and to own and implement a category strategy to secure cost reductions and improve quality and supplier service level. You will take initiatives designed to mitigate financial risk and deliver value to the business.
We want a local supply base for our global manufacturing facilities, better quality, and a focus on driving cost out of the business. We are a great category purchasing team and we want you to be part of it to make it even better. Seize the goals and objectives and make them reality. Help us realize an enormous vision. We want to keep winning and take our successful company to the next level. You will be challenged and highly visible. You will report to Christopher the Global Category Director.

Who are you?
Successful track record within purchasing
Experience within metal raw material, forging & machining processes
Production technology understanding, preferably within automotive
Efficient, proactive and a hands-on approach
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
University degree in relevant field
Business fluent in English, written and spoken
