The International School of the Stockholm Region (ISSR) is a publically funded international school which exists primarily to serve the educational needs of the transient and/or international community of Stockholm. ISSR runs all three International Baccalaureate's curricula: Primary Years Programme (ages 5-11), Middle Years Programme (ages 12-16) and the Diploma Programme (ages16-19). The school's language of instruction is English for all subjects. The school has been running the Diploma Programme since 1999 and PYP and MYP since 2012 ISSR aspires to provide a high quality, international environment.

Description of position:
This fall ISSR will need a dedicated and enthusiastic person for running the school café. The position also includes the role as Supervisor for Creativity Action Service, CAS. CAS is an IB core requirement allowing Diploma Programme students to participate in projects/ activities in which they develop new skills, challenge themselves and collaborate with others.
Responsibilities include:
• Being responsible for everyday running and selling
• Preparing the goods for sale
• Being responsible for planning and ordering
• Cash handling
• Developing the café together with the students
• Supervising CAS students. As the supervisor the candidate will need to fulfill the following requirements:
Being present during the CAS activity, in this case whenever there is a meeting with students who are in charge of the café project
Monitoring the attendance of students and report any issues to the corresponding coordinator
Ensuring the safety of students who are part of CAS, as well as safety for those attending the café
Discussing with coordinator the progress of students involved in this project as well as guide students in order to stay within CAS guidelines
Anställningsform: Tidsbegränsad.
Krav på arbetslivserfarenhet: Erfarenhet krävs.
Qualifications:
A qualified candidate will be:
• Experienced in running a café
• Knowledge in Swedish rules and regulations
• Comfortable with teenagers
• Strong entrepreneurial skills
• Near native fluency in English
Tjänsten är ledig under förutsättning att den ej tas i anspråk av övertalig personal inom staden.
