Insurance is a key element in the Care by Volvo subscription offer. It is a large part of the monthly cost and critical in creating a great customer experience. With our aggressive volume and business ambitions of entering into new markets we need to strengthen the insurance team of Care by Volvo with a car insurance specialist.
Scope
The insurance team need to continue to build, develop and govern the insurance management overall, including customer interface strategy, to support Care by Volvo's market implementation in several countries.
Your key tasks
The Insurance Specialist will further develop, set demands and requirements on Care by Volvo's insurance offer and solution overall and per market. You will support market implementation strategy and obtain market specific requirements and regulations concerning insurance. You will participate in commercial market implementation projects with responsibility of the insurance part. You are also expected to utilize trends and opportunities in the insurance market and proactively suggest and prioritize actions for lower cost, improved efficiency and improved customer value related to insurance.
From a governance perspective you'll need to:
• Manage and develop supplier governance of the insurance partners to Care by Volvo.
• Analyze and constantly follow up insurance claims statistics and total cost and act as subject matter expert of critical/escalated claims.
• Support insurance sourcing strategy and support insurance sourcing tenders and negotiations with insurance providers.
• Support and train operational and tactical stakeholders related to insurance.
Who you are
You have a couple of years professional experience from working with car insurance, for example related to business development, insurance operations, claims management, insurance analysis, pricing or underwriting.
With experience gained from car insurance, you have an outstanding ability to identify and resolve problems and suggest commercial and operational improvements. You are a person with high ambitions and strong business acumen that find an entrepreneurial company mindset motivating. You enjoy working in cross functional environments and handle a wide range of activities and interactions in parallel. You are motivated to think outside the box with a positive mindset and you have the ability to embrace change.
We are looking for a flexible and ambitious team player who like challenges and is a true doer in the field of insurance overall. You enjoy working with a wide range of questions, from operational improvements to strategic analysis, and you want to contribute in building the way forward as we go.
Excellent communication skills and a strong relationship builder, fluent English is a must.
