We are currently looking for a Car Diagnostic Engineer to support our customer, an Automotive Manufacturer, based in Göteborg, Sweden, using our SPX flag ship product, GRADE-XT, a Car Diagnostic Software.
Primarily your role will be to provide technical support and advice to our customer's car diagnostic application authors. As a resident engineer you will also be expected to assist in the expansion of business opportunities that arise with the customer. This may include requirements analysis for future software development.
You will interact with a global team that is highly motivated to deliver software & hardware solutions that meet customer expectations.
Our products have been designed and developed to interface with numerous automotive architectures and provide the necessary tools required to diagnose service and maintain vehicles.
Responsibilities:
• Interact with customer GRADE-XT Car Diagnostic Software authors and understand their daily business
• Capture new requirements and propose solutions
• Develop templates and diagnostic content using GRADE-XT car Diagnostic Software
• Analyse and process reported issues
• Help define the next generation diagnostic tool set
• Communicate project plans, technical proposals, etc. to the customer
Skills:
• Degree level in a relevant technical discipline
• Knowledge of vehicle network architectures (ideally commercial vehicles)
• Customer and project focused
• Self-starter, hands on, tenacious and team oriented
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and deliver expected quality
• Ability to work across several project areas
• Language skills: Swedish & English fluently
• Automotive Background and/or Experience
