hela Sverige CAPP stands for Computer Aided Process Planning and is an internal developed programming platform we use to generate and create automated process data, instead of doing things manually. This is essential for us to be able to handle our complex manufacturing with many articles, and at the same time increase quality.
As a CAPP Developer you will independently develop and support automation of process planning within new product projects. You will also maintain and develop existing ranges of products in insert families. You will manage different flows and interaction between different systems in the order generation system. You will also support automated process planning globally, using and developing methods and routines in the CAPP system for productions units. Furthermore, you participate in pre-studies and projects regarding other systems that communicate with CAPP, where you will represent the business by giving input from a CAPP perspective.
We are looking for someone with a BSc or MSc in Engineering and with experience from the manufacturing industry. You enjoy working in a mainframe environment with connections to different platforms. You have strong communication skills in English, in both writing and speaking, and it is preferable if you have knowledge in Swedish since we use both languages as working languages.
