Ericsson IPX is a leading global aggregator in the mobile space. The IPX Mobile Payment service provides access to delivery and charging, via SMS, MMS, WEB and Online Mobile Billing, to more than TWO billion mobile subscribers across networks in 25 countries. IPX customers are companies who offer digital content, mobile voting & directory information - and enterprises offering mobile marketing, communities and banking. As a Capacity Manager it will be your responsibility to ensure that IPX has the appropriate server and infrastructural capacity to deliver expected services. You will also ensure that the levels of IT availability is kept in order to meet the required service levels and future requirements. In detail you will; analyze system behavior, suggest and implement measures to improve capacity and availability management processes. It will be your responsibility to produce capacity and availability plans. The role also involves extensive communication and interaction with suppliers and Ericsson colleagues around the world.
You have an academic degree, preferably in IT engineering or computer science, and a couple of years working experience from system administration in UNIX/Linux and experience from configuring and tuning databases are valuable experiences. If you have experience from a service management environment, it is also highly valued.
As a person you have a high capability of taking your own initiatives. Your communication skills are excellent and you have a strong will to learn. You must be comfortable in working in a team as well as independently.
