Job Description
In this role, you will lead the creation and optimisation of the Capability plan. Collaborating with the Capability Area Manager and Capability Area Architect, you'll deliver a plan and roadmap that ensures the highest value for IKEA, aligned with our Capability area vision. You'll manage the planning across all time horizons, facilitate scope definition, and lead relevant forums to secure competence and capacity. Your efforts will be crucial in driving strategic analysis, scenario modelling, and orchestrating implementation of pre-requisites to ensure the roadmap's success.

About you
You are driven by delivering business value at speed and thrive in a fast-paced, startup-like environment. You bring extensive knowledge in capability planning and roadmap execution, combined with a collaborative spirit and strong interpersonal skills. You excel at managing change, building trustful relationships, and ensuring aligned autonomy within teams. Your strong technological and analytical skills enable you to grasp the bigger picture, connect all the dots, and drive strategic decisions effectively. A positive, self-motivated attitude and a deep understanding of IKEA's way of working are essential.
To be successful in this role, the following knowledge, skills, and experiences would be valuable:
Extensive knowledge in the assigned Capability area.
Proven experience in developing and executing roadmaps to meet business objectives.
Strong analytical and technological skills, with the ability to zoom out, grasp the bigger picture, and connect all the dots from a high-level perspective.
Familiarity with agile/scrum methodologies and product management.
Ability to understand and optimise value creation in end-to-end value chains.
Strong interpersonal skills to build networks and alliances across the organisation.
A positive, self-motivated attitude and a deep understanding of IKEA's way of working.


Additional Information
