At the moment we are looking for a Camera Designer to work with image quality and general software engineering in the development of our Network Cameras.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
In the role of Camera Designer, you will play an important part in our development projects for new network cameras. You will work in a department responsible for the development of fixed network cameras, from internal platform to mass production.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Optimizing image quality in a camera development project
• Writing and executing image quality tests in our dedicated image lab
• Acting as the camera project's contact person when it comes to image quality
• Software design and maintenance.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We believe you have a genuine interest in technology, photography and programming. You have a Master's degree in engineering or computer science or equivalent and experience in Linux/C embedded systems programming.
We furthermore think you are a curious and result-oriented person that can work well on your own or in a team. You need to have a feeling for image quality and the ability to visually judge different aspects of a digital image. You have very good communication skills in Swedish and English, both oral and writing.
In addition to the above, experience from the following areas is desirable:
• Photography, optics, and image sensor technology (CMOS/CCD).
• Knowledge of image processing, e.g. filtering, color reconstruction, scaling, binning, etc.
• Development of embedded systems, and using advanced debugging tools.
• Low-level programming, device drivers, etc.
THE NEW VIDEO PRODUCTS DEPARTMENT
The New Video Products department develops new network video products and accessories from idea to mass production using Axis technology platforms. We are about 75 employees in the department divided in six teams with focus on different product areas.
The typical employee has a Master's degree in computer science or electronics and works in roles such as software engineer, technical lead, technical expert, camera designer, project manager or line manager. Our goal is to efficiently run product development projects and deliver products to the market with high quality to strengthen Axis' market leading position.
