We currently employ more than 1000 people in Belgium on two locations covering project management, R&D, quality assurance and sales activities but also logistics and mechanical & electronic production.
POSITION
For our local antenna in Gothenburg (7 people) in charge of powertrain developments for our Customer VOLVO, we currently have a vacancy for a Calibration Technician
Your role:
You learn on our technology and keep up to date with product evolution by following trainings including at our headquarters in Belgium
You install measurement equipment on test cars
You prepare, organize and take part in vehicle tests in order to match our Customers? quality requirements and deadlines.
You analyse and interpret data collected, report to engineer/advisor and suggest technical improvements.
You support engineer in the preparation of final activity report
You manage Customer relations throughout the development of the transmission and make sure that the driving performance and feel is in line with your Customers? expectations (gear shift quality, driveability?)
YOUR ASSETS FOR THIS JOB OFFER :
• You have an education in Mechanics/electro-mechanics.
• You are localized in Gothenburg area (Göteborg) or willing to relocate there
• You are fluent in English (read, spoken and written) Swedish is a valuable asset.
• You are available for regular business trips in Sweden and abroad (US, Spain,?), mainly for the purpose of driving sessions on test tracks.
A previous experience in automotive transmission or engine development is an asset.
