hela Sverige We are looking for a Calibration Specialist for diesel engine and vehicle calibration. The selected individual will be located in Gothenburg.
You will work with test features and requirements at lab and testing ground environment. Simulate faults and to suggest improvements. Plan and perform component/product tests. Analyze test results and write reports. Work with both specified test codes and develop new ones if needed. Identify and analyze demands for technical specifications. Communication with the design team
Job responsibilities:
• Develop and optimize controls calibrations to meet performance and timing targets
• Support Lead Calibration Engineer/Diagnostic Strategist to assure algorithms meet VTS/SSTS requirements
• Conduct calibration reviews to ensure high quality
• Organize, plan, and coordinate calibration activities with Lead Calibrator and PDT to maximize resource efficiency
• Support identification of requirements for resources to develop calibrations
• Diagnose and correct vehicle, system, and controls deficiencies
• Support resolution of vehicle, plant, durability/dyno, or customer issues
• Utilize modeling, simulation, analytical methods in calibration development
• Develop, use, and update calibration procedures
• Support PDT activity with review of Service Documentation and procedures
You have good technical knowledge and a passionate interest in technology and cars. You are a team player that have strong communication skills, are able to act independently and take initiatives and have an excellent English language level, verbally and in writing. You have an ease of understanding context, are used to seek information and are not afraid to handle contacts with internal customers and/or suppliers.
Required skills:
• Several years of experience of emission and performance testing/optimization of diesel engines with exhaust after treatment systems
• Quick learner, able to handle planned and unplanned work, and able to handle multiple projects
• Diesel Engine Calibration Experience
Preferred Qualifications:
• Advanced engineering or Master degree
• Vehicle and Transmission Development Experience
• Controls, instrumentation/tools experience
• Test Engineer or algorithm development experience
• Transmission calibration experience
