We currently have the following job opening;
Calibration Engineer Transmission
The Propulsion Controls module team consists of 4 different areas; Project, Hardware, Software and Calibration. Together, the module team develops the control function for transmission products utilized in present and future state-of-the-art gearbox solutions targeting a globalized customer base.
As a Calibration Engineer you calibrate diagnosis and verify and validate in vehicle and HIL. The work involves participating in expeditions both in Sweden and abroad. Program you will work in is INCA, Canalyzer and DSA (download and diagnostic tools). You should be proactive and driven to succeed in this role.
Responsibilities and tasks
• Be responsible for calibration of the transmission control module
• Analyze data and prepare test reports
• Solve transmission issues both hardware and software
• Perform calibration activities at Hällered proving ground and participate in expeditions abroad
Profile and Background
• BSc in engineering or equivalent experience
• Experience from transmission and/or powertrain calibration and industrialization processes
• Experience of measurement technology e.g. INCA, CANalyzer and SDA
• Experience of vehicle communication e.g. CAN communication
• Experience of testing in vehicle or test bench
• Driver's licence B
• Fluency in English, both oral and written
• Driven problem solver who takes initiatives and responds to changing priorities
• Ability to travel
• Cultural awareness, especially Asian - European culture
