The Exhaust Aftertreatment System (EATS) department within Powertrain Engineering Sweden is responsible for the global platform development of exhaust after treatment systems for Volvo Group's different products around the world. We are about 80 passionate and highly skilled engineers on a mission to reduce the environmental impact of global transportation. Together with our colleagues around the world we take full system responsibility. In the Exhaust Aftertreatment Hardware Components Group we are now seeking a calibration engineer for our Aftertreatment Control Module (ACM). As a calibration engineer you will be responsible for the calibration of the ACM functions for different applications. The calibration work will be performed in component/system test benches, engine test rigs and in complete vehicles. You will also have a close collaboration with our software development teams and other application sites within the Volvo group in order continuously improve both software functionality and calibration. Main responsibilitiesPerform calibration work and delivery the calibration to the application leaderVerification of the calibration and document the resultsPropose improvements in software functionality and share best calibration practicesFollow up system performance in test fleets and real customer applicationsRequired qualificationsMaster degree in mechanical/mechatronics/SW engineeringExperience in software calibration methods and tools Understanding of the exhaust aftertreatment sub-system technology area and its industrial applicationsGood collaboration skillsGood verbal and written communication skills in EnglishTravelThe position will include occasional travelling within our global organization and to different test sites.
