China-Euro Vehicle Technology (CEVT) was established in order to lead this development and we recently opened the doors to our new R&D centre in Lindholmen, Gothenburg. In addition to the task of developing the C-segment architecture CEVT will also be responsible for total vehicle development of new vehicles.

We currently have the following job opening;
CAE-Engineer Safety:
CEVT is using CAE as an integrated part of product development and verification.
Main objective is to analyse and develop the vehicle performance in consumer vehicle safety ratings such as EuroNCAP, US-NCAP and similar.
Typical work tasks are to build FEM simulation models, solve and analyse large non-linear deformations involving a lot of contact and develop the vehicle structure and safety systems to fulfil the vehicle requirements. The main tools used are Ansa, LS-Dyna and Metapost.
Requirements
• M.Sc. eng, materials engineering, or similar.
• Experience from similar work tasks within the automotive area
• Experience of or interest in performing and driving advanced calculations and analysis
• Ability to work in cross functional teams
• Experience of LS-Dyna.
• Fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese and basic knowledge in Swedish.
