CAE Manager - Mullsjö
Job profile
Kongsberg Powertrain & Chassis Products is looking for a CAE Manager located in Mullsjö, Sweden to lead the CAE team. You will be a strong leader and guide a team of 6 engineers. The increased focus on virtual validation within P&C gives an opportunity to lead and develop the area of simulations and virtual validation. As a CAE Manager you and your team will work closely together in cross functional projects throughout the complete development lifecycle, from concept to production. You will be involved in customer projects to make sure that our products exceeds customer expectations both in terms of technical and cost aspects. The CAE team is a key player in the development of new products and you will work towards many different interfaces both within Kongsberg Automotive but also towards customers, universities and software suppliers. Our ambition is to show the complete product characteristics with virtual methods.
As a CAE Manager, you are responsible for:
• Leading and developing the Powertrain&Chassi CAE team to enable maximum staff utilization, securing prerequisites and follow up including reporting results.
• Responsible for CAE strategy including a 2-3year development plan
• Plan and manage the activities within the line organization such as operational and method development
• Ensuring implementation of methods and processes to increase quality and efficiency within CAE group.
• Act as a leading example in regards of team work and cooperation
• Mentoring and coaching your team with the goal to have the most knowledgeable and service minded engineering team
• Maintain and update CAE Software portfolio.

Candidate profile
• Master degree in mechanical engineering or similar
• 3 or more years automotive experience
• Great knowledge of Solid Mechanics
• Profound CAE knowledge
• Great knowledge of mechanical systems and automotive materials.
• Great leadership skills with a strong drive and a positive attitude.
• Highly driven and results-focused
• Excellent ability to build contacts to and motivate and inspire
• Proven ability to drive change
