Description
The person will primarily work with thermodynamic simulations of complete vehicle. Both underhood thermal management and component radiation assessment. The simulations will be performed in Ansys Fluent as the solver and pre-processor, ANSA as pre-processor and Ensight as the main tool for post-processing. The radiation simulations are done in Taitherm. You will be in the team Energy CAE within the CAE organization of Vehicle Integration.
Requirements
The person will work with the thermodynamics of the vehicle, evaluate coolpack performance, investigate possible radiation issues, suggest design changes and communicate with design team and attribute leaders. Hence, it is important that he/she has experience in the field of CFD. Knowledge in ANSA is a must, Fluent and Thaitherm is highly recommended. Knowledge in Ensight is recommended but considered of less importance since most of the post-processing is scripted. Prefer applicant has at least five years of experience from automotive industry.
