CEVT covers vital aspects of passenger car development: from the joint architecture, to power train and drive line components, to top hat engineering as well as the vehicles exterior design. CEVT is using CAE as an integrated part of product development and verification, and we currently have the following job openings within the CAE area;
CAE-Engineer Durability
Main objective is to analyse and improve structural strength and durability.
Typical work tasks are to build FEM simulation models, solve and analyse static stiffness, max-load and fatigue load cases to fulfil different strength and endurance requirements. The main tools used are Ansa, MSC.Nastran, LS-Dyna and Metapost.
CAE-Engineer Safety
Main objective is to analyse and develop the vehicle performance in consumer vehicle safety ratings such as EuroNCAP, US-NCAP and similar.
Typical work tasks are to build FEM simulation models, solve and analyse large non-linear deformations involving a lot of contact and develop the vehicle structure and safety systems to fulfil the vehicle requirements. The main tools used are Ansa, LS-Dyna and Metapost.
Requirements for both positions above
• M.Sc. eng, automotive engineering, mechanics engineering, or similar.
• Experience from similar work tasks within the automotive area
• Experience of or interest in performing and driving advanced calculations and analysis
• Ability to work in cross functional teams
• Experience of LS-Dyna. Matlab, Nastran, Ansa
• Fluency in written and spoken English, preferably also fluency in Chinese, and basic knowledge in Swedish
• Cultural awareness, especially Asian - European culture
