The noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) team is ready to take the next step in further developing the feature in the analysis and simulation area. We are looking to strengthen the team with two CAE engineers. As a CAE engineer in our team at Volvo Group Trucks Technology, you will have an important role in developing and verifying a world class truck with excellent NVH features.
Job description
As a CAE engineer in our team you will develop CAE models for analysis, simulation and optimization of the NVH features in the truck. You will work in close cooperation with the rest of the team, both locally and globally which requires a high level of English language proficiency. You will support designers in fulfilling NVH requirements during product development and also take part of method development and target setting projects, where CAE calculations are involved. Modelling tasks will cover structural dynamics and vibro-acoustic calculations as well as general NVH related problem solving. You will work in close collaboration with a senior CAE engineer.

Qualifications
• M. Sc. Eng. or equivalent with Sound & Vibration orientation
Preferred qualifications
• Experience in structural dynamics
• Experience using Finite Element Analysis related to NVH
• Knowledge about acoustic material
• Experience from automotive engineering
