We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Electric Driveline CAE Engineer to be part of a team and play a key role in developing next-generation electric vehicle technologies. In this exciting role, you will leverage your CAE expertise to perform simulations and analyses, optimize designs, and contribute to developing cutting-edge electric driveline systems
Assignment
Your main tasks are:
• Perform simulation and analysis of electric driveline components and systems, including electric motors, inverters, transmissions, mounts, and driveshafts.
• Define and analyze design prerequisites for electric driveline components.
• Participate in both the early product development phase and the industrialization phase of electric driveline systems.
• Verify and calibrate CAE models and analyze CAE results.
• Assist in planning and analyzing physical testing related to CAE simulations.
• Create and present comprehensive CAE reports.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who have/are:
• A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in performing simulations and analyses of electric driveline components and systems
• Experience with defining and analyzing design prerequisites for complex engineering systems.
• Experience with early product development and/or industrialization processes.
• Proficient in commercial CFD tools (e.g., Star-CCM+) and experience with simulation tools (e.g., Ansa, PreonLab).
• Previous experience with thermal simulations.
• Programming experience with Python, Java, GT-SUITE, Matlab/Simulink, and CATIA CAE
• Experience with Teamcenter or similar PDM systems.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in English both spoken and written.
