The ART Wheels & Tyres is growing and now we are looking for a CAE Engineer to our agile release train - Road Contact, there you will be a part of our tyre team. The Agile Teams are composed of empowered and motivated individuals who are responsible for managing their work autonomously producing value to the customer.
What you'll do
As a CAE Engineer for Tyre Development you are responsible for planning and performing virtual CAE simulations of tyres, including analysis of results, recommendation of objective targets, design changes and reporting. You will work closely with our attribute teams and our tyre suppliers to support balancing and optimizing of properties of our tyres.
You will be included in advanced engineering projects in concept phase among others and you will be working with setting and fulfilling requirements. The responsibilities also include development of new virtual methods, with new tools, to make our development process even more efficient and shorten lead times.
Do you fit the profile?
You have a M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent, with emphasis on Computational Aided Engineering (CAE). You have documented experience from the automotive industry and in particular of practicing CAE in the field of Tyre Development. Further, we see that you are skilled in CATIA V5, Linux, Pro Engineer, MATLAB and Ansys or similar simulation tools. You are fluent in English and hold a driver licence.
You are an open-minded person, who is used to work in a time sensitive environment, you get energy by solving problems together with your colleagues. You understand the need for good documentation and are used to lead and present your projects, both orally and in written.
You are business oriented and have a great inner-drive to perform and take own initiative, while being a good team player at the same time. You are a networker and have the ability to work cross functionally, within and outside of company. You have the courage to make real impact.
