Job description
SEGULA Technologies is now expanding and we are looking to fill several CAE positions for automotive assignments. As CAE engineer at SEGULA you will be working in projects for one of our customers. You will be responsible for planning and performing CAE analyses, including analyses of results and reports. The tasks vary from component and system analyses to full car simulations and more challenging analyzes of plastic and composite materials subjected to mechanical and thermal loads. You have a proactive role in model- and methodology development and work related to quality and cost reduction. The responsibilities, depending on assignment, include optimization and simulation of strength, endurance, NVH, crash, engine calibration, particle distribution, EATS etc. You will be working in close collaboration with other departments and customers.
Your profile
We think that you are a collaboration oriented and responsive person with a high level of service. We expect that you have a practical experience of similar work and a passionate interest in technology. Our customers and commitments put strong demands on your technical skills as well as your interpersonal skills. You have strong analytical skills, act independently and take initiatives. You must have an excellent English language level, verbally and in writing. You should also be a good listener and have strong communication skills. You have an ease of understanding new data, you are used to seek information and are not afraid to handle contacts with customers and their suppliers.
Qualifications
• M.Sc. Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Documented CAE experience
• Good knowledge about mechanics and dynamics and/or strength of materials corresponding master-level courses
• Proficient skills in Matlab and Simulink
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Experience in the following tools are meritorious: Abaqus, Ansys, Hypermesh, LS-Dyna, ANSA, Nastran, ABAQUS, ADAMS
• Meritorious is previous professional experience in the areas of multibody dynamics, vehicle dynamics, vehicle/driver interaction and driving skills.
