CAD release & support Engineer

We are looking for a person interested in Product Development tasks in general, but preferably towards CAD (CREO) and CAD Support. You have ambitions and energy to develop yourself and the company in a way that later will lead to new tasks and responsibility. As a person you enjoy working in a team and have the ability to inspire your team colleagues and feeling engaged by goal settings. Since the job consists of an extensive net of contacts both internally and externally your networking skills should be very good and prioritized
The task for our Technical Support department is to ensure the quality and consistency of the product information in order to increase the efficiency of the entire product development process. It is located in Gothenburg but support is given to both Sweden and US. We support also engineers outside the Product development area.
We are working with the handling of documents, product structure and CAD in the release process as well as CAD support and CAD packaging. The department is today about 13 persons working in different roles.
The main tasks for the CAD release & support Engineer are to:
Support our release process considering 3D documentation
Support, improve and ensure that our CAD process will be used through all our product development phases.
Towards our engineers give CAD support regarding the work with 3D Packaging studies.
Profile and qualifications:
CAD system CREO
Good knowledge of configurations & product structure (KOLA)
Knowledge of product projects in the automotive area.
Positive attitude with a sense of humor
Open for changes and result oriented
University or college degree in relevant subjects.
Your CV should contain listed qualifications in academic degrees (minimum Bsc or Msc), good skills in English and Swedish.
