LEAR TCS in Mullsjö is a Business Segment which manufactures seat comfort and climate systems for the automotive industry. Today we are 7 Engineers in the group that works with lumbar support, massage, seat heat, ventilation. We 're now looking to hire two engineers to this team.
Role description
As Project Engineer, your main tasks are to:
Analyze and interpret the customer requirements to determine feasibility of product proposal.
Analyze engineering problems using traditional analytical methods and FEA.
Maintain relation with internal and external customer engineers.
Deliver design documents into the projects according to LEAR TCS process.
Create robust, cost effective and quality assured technical solutions.
Support and encourage the compliance to company quality standards and other quality requirements.
Work according to agreed processes, tools, and support continuous improvement of them.
Create 3D models in CAD appropriate for prototyping and for serial production.
Create 2D drawings including measures and tolerances to secure functionality, enabling good manufacturability and possibility to measure.
Perform tolerance stack up calculations.
Be given responsibility as coordination responsible, engineer for a distributed portion or full scope of given project.
Candidate profile
Solid background of CAD "Catia V5".
Experience within the automotive business or similar would be a big plus.
Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
Good communication skills, easily engage in your working tasks and cooperate well with you colleagues.
