Position description:

The Fuel & Ignition Systems team is part of the Dressed Engine section within Propulsion Power Systems department, responsible to develop and validate the High Pressure Fuel and Ignition System for internal combustion engines.

Together with cross a functional team within propulsion power systems, manufacturing, purchasing and sub suppliers you will work with the latest technology in order to reach the future characteristics and requirements in a very exciting field.

We are now looking for a skilled Component Responsible with a strong focus on project deliveries and skills in working with cross-functional team, supplier interaction and experience from mechatronic or electrical component/systems.

As Component Responsible you will coordinate and lead the work within your responsibility area, to reach the objectives and secure the deliveries within the given technical requirements, time and budget.

Main area of responsibility:

• Development of Ignition and FIE system components in close cooperation with suppliers
• Review technical solutions by suppliers
• Review and release technical documentation (Drawings, 3D-models, Technical specifications etc.)
• Initiate and follow validation to secure that components fulfil specification and intended function in system application
• Initiate and assure corrective actions when deviations occurs
• Communicate the status and forecast to both project and line organisation

Required qualifications:

• University degree in engineering or equivalent based on work experience
• Experience from automotive application and development of mechatronic or electric hardware and/or electronic control systems
• Good communication and computer skills
• Skilled in Swedish and English, both in speech and writing
• Documented experience of CATIA, Teamcenter and KDP
