About the job
In this position, you contribute with your expertise in CAD and CAM to our cross-organization operational developments. You discover, develop and evaluate new CAD/CAM methods, enhancements to existing methods and translate research discoveries into usable procedures. Furthermore, you appraise new methods to determine their potential for addressing customer needs and to achieve goals in revenue growth and market share. With all this in mind, you support and work alongside your colleagues in professional growth, to increase their own capabilities and take decisions within a defined time frame.
This position is based in either Norrköping, Arboga or Fagersta, Sweden, and some international travel is required.
Your profile
We're looking for someone with a bachelor or master's degree in technical engineering or another relevant field, together with extensive experience in a similar role as this one. You have proven skills in CAD (NX or other software) and demonstrate solid knowledge of design and the way of working, processes, theories, methods and their respective strengths, weaknesses and suitable solutions. Beneficial for this position is knowledge in CAM, Rulestream, programming and data handling. Since we operate in a global environment, you have proven efficiency in English, both in written and verbal form.
You're structured and independent, with a problem-solving approach in your ways of working. You thrive in an environment that encourages cooperation, innovation, and look for multiple perspectives when working with others. With great communication skills you easily build trusting relationships based on honesty and trust.
