Our Energy Infrastructure portfolio includes power cables from 48 V to 245 kV, including accessories and product near services for cable systems from 12 kV and above.
Our mission is to sell, develop and deliver products and solutions enabling our customers to succeed in the Telecom and Energy distribution business.
The Product Development Unit (PDU) is design responsible for most of Ericsson's Cables, Cable assemblies and Network products. The PDU resources are located in Kista, Hudiksvall and Falun. At the moment around 100 persons work within the Product Development Unit. The cable system design and development for Energy Infrastructure is located in Falun. The design and development of the cable systems is a key function at the Product Development Unit.
Job description
You will work with design and development of cable systems with focus on the 12-170 kV range. The cable design also includes product support to customers and our sales force, evaluation and solutions for customer requests.
Part of your work will also include load calculations on cable systems, cost calculations and product descriptions and technical basis for marketing documents.
Additional responsibilities includes technical studies, seminars and presentations both to customers and internal, as well as participation in development projects.
Qualifications
To be a successful candidate you are a driven and self motivated individual,
not afraid of making independent decisions if needed. You enjoy working individually as well as in teams. You are good with numbers and you have very good knowledge of MS Office. Prior experience from working with projects is also preferred.
Experience and qualifications:
• At least B. Sc in Electrical Engineering, specialization in high voltage and/or electrical distribution systems.
• Prior experience of electrical infrastructure.
• Excellent communications skills, both oral and written.
• Fluent Swedish and English, spoken and written.
Additional merits:
• Language skills besides Swedish and English.
• Cable assembly experience at 12 kV and above.
