Your mission
Our team, the Face drilling team is a part of R&D Drilling in our Underground division. We are located in Örebro and we consist of mechanical engineers for the Drilling's portfolio.
We are searching for Cabin Design Engineers, where you will work closely together with all other functions in the department. Our cabins consist of and carries several different systems, such as technical project leaders, product responsible engineers, hydraulic engineers, and electrical engineers. You also work with other departments, industrial design, production, marketing, sourcing, service, and production.
You will also strive to set the benchmark for the best ergonomics for the operator in our industry.
Your primarily work is mechanical design in 3D-CAD of our machines. Your main tools are Teamcenter and Creo.
As Cabin Design Engineer you work both with the existing products as well as with new coming technologies. You will work in a range from product maintenance, customer engineered solution and new innovations.
Your profile
To be successful in the role you need to have an interest in mechanical solutions and operators' ergonomic, being curious and have an agile mindset. It is important to understand the different needs from a human machine interface point of view
You have at least some years of experience as mechanical engineer and preferably in the field of cabin or operator's stations. You have experience from working in a 3D-CAD system. We see that you have a bachelor's degree in mechanics or an equivalent education and speak both Swedish and English. Earlier knowledge from Epiroc is a merit.

This position is located in Örebro, Sweden. Occasional travel is required.
