Do you want to plan, follow-up and deliver Product Development projects according to agreed scope, budget, time plan and quality?
On behalf of our world leading automotive client we are now looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic person to join our high performing team as Sub- and/or Cab Project Manager. The mission will start in April or after agreement where the right consultant will be extended or hired after 8 months. About our client:
The Cab Heavy Duty Project and Range Management has the responsibility for cross functional project management for Cab related pre-studies and projects. They mainly lead Cab projects our Client but also have continental cab projects with Renault HD in the portfolio if multibrands. The position is located in Gothenburg and includes occasional traveling.

As PM Cab you have the mission to lead the cross functional development team towards meeting the required targets set by the customer (Quality, Delivery, Cost, Features). In start cost projects either report to the PME (Project Manager Engineering) and is thus a member of the EPT (Engineering Project Team) or as sub PM to the Commodity PM, depending of the project scope and time line. In maintenance project you report directly to the Chief Project Manager.
Responsibility:
With the role comes the responsibility to deliver the project according to the set QDCF target initiation (PCI) to closure (End gate) via the following main activities and deliveries:
• Cross functionally lead the product development work from PCI to EG
• Drive and take part in the definition of project content
• Drive and take part in developing the requirement specification (incl.E2E functions)
• Budget responsibility, project o product cost
• Lead the break down requirements to components, systems and functions
• Drive the project time plans covering all activities needed to ensure fully verified and validated components, systems and functions (HW/SW)
• Ensure quality assured project documentation (e.g. project description, PAP/PDP, risk register, engineering releases) in due time
• Compile and report product QDCF status in the project dimension
The position will give you an extensive network and cooperation with colleagues across functions within and outside our client as well as opportunities to work closely with your stakeholders.
Utbildning/erfarenhet
• Courage, integrity and excellent communication skills with a can-do attitude.
• A right from me attitude with the ability to work through others
• Documented project management experience from product development projects (PMI certificate is a merit)
• Knowledge and understanding of purchasing and manufacturing processes and cross functional dependencies
• Fluent in English, French is a merit
