hela Sverige Volvo GTT Cab Engineering Europe, Cab Heavy Duty Range is looking for a Cab Geometry Architect area responsible.
Cab Geometry Architect and Assurance group is responsible for ensuring all cab systems and concepts are geometrically compatible including the right convergence between design and technical executions.
To the team we are now looking for a Geometrical Area Responsible to take the leading role for the Geometric Integration across the Development Units, Product Design & Manufacturing for Cab in the early phases. In this position you will play a fundamental role in securing and integrating the technologies necessary to ensure Volvo Heavy Duty products competitive future.
Main Responsibilities
In this position you own the spaces between the parts. In other words it is your responsibility to make sure that Geometrical project deliveries are x-functionally agreed. You will also be responsible for a yearly review in assigned geometry area and also keeping all documentation rules, templates and strategies aligned, implemented and "up to date"

Required Competences
• MSc degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
• Experience from geometry architect work in the automotive industry
• Experience of early to late phases in project work is a merit
• Good knowledge in CATIA V5
• English, both written and spoken.
