hela Sverige För kunds räkning söker vi nu en C++ utvecklare för projektanställning hos kund i Stockholm med start så snart som möjligt. Uppdraget kommer att pågå i 3 månader med möjlighet till förlängning.

Our customer is looking for a consult to lead and develop their future system for algorithm evaluation. In order to get better at what they do they need to perform tests on an ever growing set of images. For this they need help designing such a system as well as maintaining it. At its core, the system needs to store millions of images that can be fetched by query. For each image they evaluate how well an algorithm performs, and in the end they get a result that says how well the algorithm performed on the entire set of images.
What they seek in you are good programming skills and that you are self-driven. You will be the core of the future team that will develop this system. A passion for new technology in terms of NoSQL databases and distributed computing should be at your heart. You will lead this development so a good understanding of systems and system architecture is needed.
Does this sound like a neat challenge? We think you should have:
• Experience in Python (Django, Celery, PIL, Fabric)
• C++ basic knowledge
• NoSQL databases (Preferably MongoDB)
• Distributed computing
• Test Driven Development
• Linux (Ubuntu)
• M.Sc or Ph.D in computer science or related field
• A minimum of two years of work experience in one or more of the above fields
As a person you should be looking for where you can take the system and the team next. What new technique could be used to cut half the code or improve performance by some factor. You will be a part of a larger team that will use what you develop. Your customer will be your team.
