Binary Motion is looking for experienced C++ Game Programmers to join our team in Sundsvall, Sweden. We are looking for someone with demonstrable professional experience in the game development industry.
At Binary Motion you will be working in a small team, collaborating with other teams worldwide in porting and co-developing AAA games. It is a job with high exposure to game technology and the latest gaming platforms that requires good programming and debugging skills and good understanding of software and hardware architectures.
Essential skills, knowledge and experience
3 years of C/C++ programming experience in the games industry
Deep understanding of game engine technology
Experience porting games to console platforms
Strong team player.
Ability to debug low level code.
Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing.
Desirable skills, knowledge and experience
Knowledge of commercial or In-house C++ game engines.
Computer Science (or similar) Graduate
Experience with 3D graphics APIs (Direct3D, OpenGL, Vulcan, ...)
Knowledge of GPU programming (Shaders, HLSL, GLSL, ...)
Ability to analyze and optimize game performance.
Released at least one game on multiple platforms.
