The Electronic Trading team at SunGard Front Arena is responsible for developing and maintaining two financial trading clients. We are now looking to strengthen our team with a Software Developer focusing on our client for cross-asset trading, market making, and algorithmic execution.
You will work in a team of highly skilled developers with varying experience levels. Your daily activities will range from GUI development and implementation of financial features, to maintenance issues and bug fixes. In addition to C++ development you will also work to some extent with Python. We have embraced agile methodologies for some years and employ Scrum as our development process framework. Our product is well established on the market, with customers that are active and demanding and you will from time to time be expected to engage in customer oriented activities, such as on-site support, which may require occasional travelling.
Krav på person
The successful candidate is a skilled C++ developer with a deep understanding of object-oriented design and architecture. Experience with unit testing is meriting, as well as with test-driven design. We believe you have a solid academic background in software engineering, preferably a Master degree. While experience from the financial industry is a plus, you MUST be passionate about software development and building solid quality products. On the personal side we value candidates who are result oriented, enthusiastic, and with a personal drive to constantly learn new things.
