You will be a member of the Gothenburg Purchasing Team for Operational Purchasing of Indirect Materials and Services (IDM&S) to support country/factories with focus on different categories. As a professional partner to SKF businesses, we participate throughout the complete value chain of sales, product development, sourcing and aftermarket processes. We contribute to the bottom line result of SKF and deliver value by using a category driven purchasing and a business oriented approach. Our multifaceted expertise secures SKF with a top performing purchasing organization. The Buyer position will have a strong initial focus on process development and implementation of a new ERP system, so you should have a liking for and experience in process development and working with systems. It is crucial that you have experience of working in a purchasing position, including but not limited to contract negotiation, sourcing, supplier development. We are looking for a team player who can execute tasks with high accuracy and speed, you should be eager to meet and exceed goals and be able to work well in a demanding and high-paced environment. We are a small team and everybody's effort is essential so your effort and initiatives will be important for us. We believe you have the skills within Purchasing that are a pre-requisite for this position and are in the beginning of your career with a couple of years working experience.

Main responsibilities
Perform local purchasing according to defined strategies and frameworks
Manage RFX process, supplier selection, supplier development
Participate in global/regional strategic IDM sourcing projects
Maintain close contact with all stake holders 
Support implementation of new processes 
Support the implementation of new Purchasing and ERP system
Negotiation, implementation and maintaining contracts and agreements, supplier development
Participate in and develop efficient standardized P2P processes
Participation in local as well as global strategic sourcing projects and implementation of results in the operational Units in Sweden.

Required qualifications
Relevant university degree in engineering, economics, purchasing or similar
Fluency in English and Swedish required, additional languages a plus
Experience in purchasing role from earlier positions
Experience in working with SAP and/or Ariba from earlier positions is a plus
Good communication and negotiation skills
Good command of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
Project Management skills and experience in working with Change Management is meritorious

The possibility to travel max 10 days/year
